How to Have a Hauntingly Happy Halloween on Long Island

How to Have a Hauntingly Happy Halloween on Long Island

We fully admit our biased love of all things Long Island here at Wantagh Mazda, but we don’t think we’re just being blinded by our affection for our hometown when we say that Halloween on Long Island is unlike any other in the country. Just take a look at a few of the spooktacular Halloween haunts you can check out right here with your family this year:

Enchanted Forest Trail

Families are encouraged to don their costumes and head over to the Enchanted Forest Trail at Quogue Wildlife Refuge. Walk the paths with your young-ones and stumble into a delightful array of forest characters and activities. There are even games taking place in the parking lot.

Halloween in the Plaza

Pop over to Kennedy Plaza on Saturday, October 27th at 10:00 AM for their annual blow-out Halloween Bash. At Halloween in the Plaza, you can march in the costume parade at 11:00, trick-or-treat around the plaza all day, do the monster mash with the live DJ, and more.

The Best Neighborhoods for Trick-or-Treating

We’re not sure a bad neighborhood exists for trick-or-treating on Halloween on Long Island, but we have a few favorites: Bay Shore, Syosset, Sayville, Stony Brook and Port Jefferson.

We here at Wantagh Mazda wish you and your crew a spirited Halloween season.
