Since it first rolled out for the 2016 model year, the Mazda CX-3 has been a premium choice for drivers looking for a versatile subcompact SUV that delivers big on features and overall value. The 2019 Mazda CX-3 is the most appealing iteration of this popular SUV to date, boasting a stunning design and more exhilarating power than ever before.
Everywhere you look, the 2019 CX-3 offers interesting and striking new design details. On the front end, a new grille design compliments the lower bumper chrome accents. Around back, all-new LED signature taillights leave a lasting impression.
Inside, the 2019 CX-3 offers more high-end options than in previous years, including full-leather seat surfaces, complete with prominent stitching and pleated piping. Additionally, the 2019 CX-3 is equipped with new seats altogether, which are wider and firmer for additional support.
One of the most exciting changes coming to the 2019 Mazda CX-3 is the retuned SKYACTIV-G® 2.0-liter engine, which will now deliver 148 horsepower and increased torque across the rpm range, with a maximum torque of 140 lb-ft.

You have probably heard the winter predictions by now. If you haven’t, weather experts think we are going to have heavy winter this year with lots of snow. According to the Farmers’ Almanac, winter temperatures are expected to be closer to “normal,” which means cold, and precipitation will be “above normal.”
So, how can you prepare for snow on Long Island? The first thing you need to do is make sure you have the right vehicle. If you are worried your front-wheel drive sedan won’t cut it this winter, Mazda has a great lineup of crossovers—all with available all-wheel drive.
The CX-3, CX-5, and CX-9 not only offer superior traction with their available all-wheel drive systems, but they come with great features like the MAZDA CONNECT™ system, an available Bose® sound system, and advanced safety features.
Along with the right vehicle, you also need the right tires. No matter which vehicle you drive, winter tires can make a big difference. They are designed using a special type of rubber that stays soft even when the temperatures are frigid. And, the unique tread patterns cut through snow and slush better than all-weather tires.
If you are looking for a new winter ride or just want a new set of tires, come visit us at Wantagh Mazda before the worst of winter arrives.

Mazda is a family-centric automaker that makes it a priority to offer vehicles designed for families of all ages and lifestyles. Traveling through the suburbs is a breeze in the Mazda CX-3, CX-5, and CX-9, but heading into New York City can be cause for concern. That’s why Mazda is packing in more safety features each and every year. Here’s a closer look at some Mazda SUV safety.
The latest addition to Mazda’s safety features comes in the form of Automatic Emergency Braking. The active safety technology will be standard on all new Mazda vehicles by September 2022. The system is currently standard or available on the Mazda CX-3 and CX-5.
Automatic Emergency Braking uses on-board radar and cameras to detect when a crash is imminent. Once a collision is detected, the system warns the drivers and adjusts the brakes for more rapid braking. If the driver fails to respond, the system will apply the brakes on its own.
Mazda SUV safety is growing with more active safety technologies making their way to the road each year. Automatic Emergency Braking improves driver safety by offering the capability to hit the brakes fast to avoid hitting pedestrians and other vehicles.
Federal Crash Test Results
Many consumers put much of their confidence in federal crash tests results. We here at Wantagh Mazda are happy to announce that the Mazda CX-3, CX-5, and CX-9 all earned Top Safety Pick+ Ratings, the highest rating possible, from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
