The 2016 Mazda CX-9 Redesign Introduces Fresh And Exciting Changes

The 2016 Mazda CX-9 represents a brand-new and exciting redesign for the model. It counts as the first major overhaul since the inception of the CX-9 in 2006. The result is a choice in the full-size SUV category that is even more robust and alluring than before.

The new 2016 Mazda CX-9 redesigned SUV is available now at Wantagh Mazda!

The goal with the CX-9 redesign was enhancing the drive, improving efficiency, better tech on the inside and increase attractiveness on the outside. Mazda shaved a significant amount of weight from CX-9 this time around. Depending on the configuration, the crossover weighs 200 pounds lighter. Less bulk combined with the available all-wheel drive system and the CX-9 is guaranteed to handle with precision.

Under the hood, the outgoing V6 has been replaced by a refined 2.5-liter four-cylinder, capable of outputting 310 lb-ft of torque. The improvement in fuel efficiency should be somewhere around 20 percent.

Inside the all-new 2016 Mazda CX-9, there is a standard 7-inch central infotainment display. Mazda Connect makes smartphone integration a cinch. Enjoy voice commands, Bluetooth functionality and audio streaming with Mazda Connect. An 8-inch display is available as is a Bose premium audio system.

The all-new, redesigned 2016 Mazda CX-9 is yet another example of the design superiority of Mazda! Wantagh Mazda has just received our first batch of new CX-9s, so come get ’em! We have 10 on the lot now, and expect more to arrive in the next couple weeks.

How to Remove Odors From a Car

How to Remove Odors From a CarWhether it’s cigarette smoke or a spill, removing unwanted odors from your car can be tough. Even if you roll down the windows, the smell won’t go away. Once the smell has made its way into the carpet and seats, it can be incredibly hard to get rid of. Fortunately there are ways to remove odors from a car. Here are a few cheap and effective methods from us here at Wantagh Mazda.

  1. Cinnamon Sticks – Great for winter, the smell of cinnamon can easily overpower any unwanted odor. Boil several cinnamon sticks in water then pour it into a mug. Roll up your windows and leave the mug in your car until it cools. The smell of cinnamon will quickly take over your car, leaving you with an enjoyable scent every time you drive.
  2. Cat Litter – Designed to absorb unwanted smells in the litterbox, cat litter can remove smells from your car as well. Just leave a bowl of litter in your car overnight. By morning, the smell will be gone and you can reuse the litter for your feline friend!
  3. Newspaper – While most news is digital, physical newspapers still have some use. Crumple up a few pieces and leave them in your car overnight. The newspaper will absorb nearly any smell.
