The 2021 Mazda CX-30 rolled off the assembly line as a highly capable, wildly appealing compact crossover thanks to its sophisticated design, family-friendly versatility, efficient powertrain. Recently, Mazda announced that it’s upping the ante in terms of performance with a brand-new engine option: The SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 Turbo.

This new addition to the 2021 Mazda CX-30 lineup is all about excitement, and the specs show it. According to Mazda, the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 Turbo engine will be able to produce a thrilling 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque when fueled by 93 octane premium gasoline. That’s good for an increase of 41 horsepower and 124 lb-ft over the standard engine.

In addition to a significant jump in power, 2021 Mazda CX-30 models equipped with the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 Turbo will feature subtle but evocative design enhancements. Gloss Black door mirrors, larger tailpipes, and 18-inch black aluminum-alloy wheels will turn heads around Wantagh, New York, and exclusive TURBO badging on the liftgate will show just what your new car is capable of.
