During the holiday season, most people feel more generous, and that includes Mazda. Mazda is once again bringing back its popular Mazda Drive For Good charity event. Now through January 2, 2015, Mazda will donate $150 for every new Mazda sold or leased.
Mazda is even taking it a step further, and will volunteer one hour of service for every test drive. Those service hours will be fulfilled by Mazda employees, dealers, and business partners in 2015.
“We are excited to have increased the donation amount for the 2014 Mazda Drive for Good charity event,” said Jim O’Sullivan, president and CEO, MNAO, in a statement. “Mazda donated more than $2.7 million last year and while we know the charity partners were appreciative, we always want to do more. However, no Mazda charity event would be complete without rolling up our sleeves and lending a helping hand by donating an hour of charitable service for every test drive.”
Customers will get to choose among four national organizations for the $150 donation: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and the Mazda Foundation. In addition, Mazda gave regional dealerships the chance to choose a local charity. If you lease or purchase a new Mazda from Wantagh Mazda, you can add Autism Speaks to the list of charitable options.
